Tash Pennant is the founder of Tash Pennant Consultancy. She is an award-winning communications consultant specialising in internal communications and employee engagement. She also provides consultancy in stakeholder relationship management, understanding government and managing relationships with statutory organisations too. In addition, she helps organisations enhance their employer brand through covering events through her successful ‘Tell Your Story’ package and social media services. Her communications work also involves providing advice and support to individuals on how to manage their personal brand via social media too.
Tash is also a speaker and speaks on communications, networking and leadership. In her speech on ‘Underground Difference, Overground Light’, she shares her story of being different, being the UK’s only black female communications manager working at a coal mine and regularly going underground. Most recently as an entrepreneur, Tash won the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ category at the 2018 Baton Awards. She was nominated for a WeAreTheCity Rising Star Award in 2018 and in the same year, she was profiled in the #ShesTheBoss series and as a ‘Mover and Shaker’ by Precious Online too.
Prior to running Tash Pennant Consultancy, she founded +1Campaign, a food distribution initiative which was focused on feeding people in need who had no permanent residence. She was also a Non-Executive Director for one of the UK’s largest arms-length management organisation, which held stock of 28,000 properties.
Tash is committed to the development of young people, entrepreneurship and education and is a mentor with an organisation focused on supporting young people.
